  1. This video consultation is NOT for medical emergency. Please call your medical emergency number (000 in Australia) or go to your nearest hospital if you need emergency care. This video consultation is to compliment your general healthcare and it must never replace face-to-face consultation with your doctor. You must not rely solely on this video consultation for your primary healthcare. You agree that you will consult your usual doctor after this consultation to follow up on your medical condition.
  2. The best practice of medicine requires a doctor to take a clinical history, to examine the patients, to order the appropriate test, and finally arriving at a diagnosis to start the treatment. With limitations of the video consultation, the doctor’s clinical assessment is based entirely upon the history given by the patient and clinical features that can be seen on the video. Therefore this video consultation MUST NOT replace face to face consultation with your usual doctor. This video consultation is merely to compliment the traditional doctor consultation and to provide solutions to simple medical conditions that do not require face to face consultation and it may only suitable for certain medical conditions. You are aware that the doctor is not able to do a complete clinical assessment using the video consultation, and you will provide a truthful and accurate history to the doctor to assist the doctor in collecting all necessary information about your condition. Therefore the doctor is not liable for making an incorrect clinical assessment if the information provided is inaccurate and/or the clinical feature is not presented to the doctor. You agree to waive the doctor’s liabilities if the doctor’s recommendation is not followed.
  3. This video consultation is suitable for you to obtain treatment for simple medical conditions that do not require clinical examination and medical tests.  However, if your condition is not improved in the next 24 hours, you must seek further medical attention.
  4. This video consultation is suitable for: 1. Simple medical conditions such as cold and flu, gastroenteritis, skin infection, dental infection, eye and ear infection, urinary tract infection, simple rashes, gastro-oesophageal reflux, travel medicine, or any general advise 2. Medical certificate.We are able to provide a medical certificate if you are not fit for study or work. However, we are NOT able to back date a certificate. 3. Repeat prescription. We are able to provide a repeat prescription of your regular medication if you can show us the medication label with your name and the doctor’s name on it. However, we are NOT able to prescribe any medications of addiction, pain killer, narcotics or sleeping tablets (schedule 4 and 8 medications). 4. Specialist referral. We are able to give you a referral to see any private specialist in Australia. However we are NOT able to refer for termination of pregnancy. 
  5. We are currently unable to provide any medical-legal/insurance/Centrelink report.
  6. You will be bulk billed for this video consultation if you have a valid Medicare card. The consultation fees you paid will be refunded at the end of the consultation. 
  7. You must be in Australia to use this video consultation.
  8. We provide the highest security and privacy for this video consultation. The video consultation is encrypted end-to-end by using a separate DTLS/SRTP in each connection. All media is sent over these secure connections, and is encrypted only at the sender and decrypted only at the receiver.
  9. Doctorai is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information. We collect your personal information such as name, date of birth, medicare number, address, phone number, email, centrelink health care card number, next of kin (name and phone) in order for the doctor to provide a safe and effective video consultation for your own benefit. We do not pass on your personal information to any third parties. We maintain security of personal health information at all times and ensures that this information is only available to authorised members of staff. All personal health information recorded by your doctor is kept strictly confidential in accoordance with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Guidelines. Records are kept up to date and as accurate as possible. 
  10. Your credit card transaction will be processed securely and no card details stored.
  11. You will receive a receipt of your payment in your registered email once credit card payment has been made.
  12. The average wait time between payment and the consultation occuring will be 30 minutes or less and we do not anticipate waiting more than 60 minutes.

  14. We provide 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not 100% satisfied with our service or if your request cannot be completed via the video consultation, you can ask for a full refund. Full refund will be made available in line with the Australian Consumer Law.
